Steve Dixon

Executive Director

Steve Dixon has over 25 years of experience in funds management in both Australia and overseas, holding senior executive and director roles for several fund management groups.

With experience with both retail and wholesale funds, he has wide-ranging expertise that includes managing listed property trusts, unlisted property trusts and managed investment funds.  Steve has particularly strong skills in financial management, administration, compliance and fund-raising activities, with a focus on representing the best interests of investors.

Nick Wheeler

Executive Director

Nick has over 14 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management and finance in Australia. Nick is responsible for the execution of the firm’s strategy and day-to-day management of operations.

Before founding Vesta, Nick gained significant experience from M/Group, Minderoo, Cedar Woods and Stockland where he was actively involved in investment strategy creation, sourcing and executing investment transactions from inception to completion, feasibility assessment, develpment management, financial structuring and capital management.

Ali Simmons

Marketing Manager

Ali Simmons is an experienced marketing professional with a diverse background in strategic campaign development, branding, and creative direction. With a proven track record across multiple industries, Ali has managed large portfolios, challenged the status quo, and implemented process improvements. She has held key roles, including a current Senior Account Manager role at Creative.adm and Regional Marketing Manager at Lendlease WA. Ali's expertise spans from market analysis to brand development, making her a valuable asset in driving innovation and engagement in all aspects of Vesta's marketing efforts.

Gloria Kessler

Fund Accounting & Administration

Gloria Kessler joined Macro Funds Ltd (now Vesta Funds) in February 2009, following her role as an auditorat KPMG, where she gained experience in auditing funds management, real estateinvestment trusts, shipping and manufacturing companies. 

Since February 2009, Gloria has gained extensive expertise in financial reporting, administration and regulatory compliance, particularly within managed funds and property trusts. Gloria continues to provide valuable support in these areas as needed.

James Collis

Responsible Manager - AFSL

James has worked in the property industry for more than 20 years in various roles specialising in Acquisitions, Sales and Leasing. He has significant experience in all sectors of the market with involvement in the development and syndication of multiple transactions with a particular focus on Office Buildings, En-globo Land and Residential Apartments. James is a responsible manager for the AFS Licensing entity Vesta Funds Management Pty Ltd.
